  The new 42mm bore electronic-controlled throttle body helps improve output and deliver a faithful response to throttle action.

  High-Performance Wheels and Tires

  The DR-Z4SM rides on wire-spoke wheels. The 17-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear wheel are shod with IRC GP-410 dual-purpose tube-type tires (120/70R-17M/C 58H at the front; 140/70R-17M/C 66H at the rear) that feature an interior structure custom-engineered exclusively for the DR-Z4SM.

  Built to perform optimally, whether negotiating off-road trails or riding on roads, these tires feature chunky center blocks that provide solid grip and contribute to the model’s outstanding controllability.

  SUZUKI INTELLIGENT RIDE SYSTEM (S.I.R.S.)

  The Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) for the DR-Z4SM applies the latest high-spec technologies in a manner that makes its collection of advanced electronic rider assist systems easy for you to fully enjoy. You choose an integrated riding mode or individual settings to best suit your level of experience, your riding style, and the conditions of the moment. In turn, S.I.R.S. frees you to concentrate on riding with greater confidence by making the DR-Z4SM more controllable, more predictable, and less tiring to ride, no matter how far your journey takes you.

  Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS)

  The Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS) better assists the rider in matching performance to the riding scene, surface conditions, or preferred riding style.

  Suzuki Traction Control System (STCS)

  The Suzuki Traction Control System (STCS) for the DR-Z4S/SM includes a custom-tuned G (Gravel) mode setting that helps the rider maximize off-road performance.

  ABS (Anti-lock Braking System)

  The DR-Z4SM is the first Suzuki production model with an ABS that can be switched OFF for both wheels. In addition, both the DR-Z4S/SM offer Rear ABS OFF mode, which switches off just the rear wheel ABS.

  Suzuki’s Ride-by-Wire Electronic Throttle System

  Suzuki’s Ride-by-Wire Electronic Throttle System realizes faithful response and employs a throttle cable that offers adjustment of throttle play and fine control over throttle action.

  Suzuki Easy Start System
