2026 Polaris 9R RMK KHAOS 146 Patriot

The 2026 Polaris 9R RMK Khaos 146 is a high-performance mountain snowmobile designed for agile handling and a dynamic riding experience. It is part of Polaris's SnowCheck program, featuring the factory-built Patriot 9R engine and the lightweight Matryx platform.   

Engine and performance

• Engine: Patriot 9R, a liquid-cooled, 899cc, 2-cylinder engine. It is designed as a factory-mod motor for quick throttle response and higher output than the standard 850 Patriot.
• Power: The 9R engine produces 7% more horsepower and 12% more torque than the naturally-aspirated 850 Patriot, with less rotational inertia.
• Drivetrain: QuickDrive drive system, using a lightweight belt drive to reduce inertia and deliver faster track speeds. The clutch system is a P-22 primary and TEAM LWT driven.
• Reverse: PERC® (Polaris Electronic Reverse Control). 

Chassis and suspension

• Platform: Matryx platform with a narrow body and cockpit for improved rider mobility and control in deep snow.
• Rear Suspension: RMK Khaos®, which is tuned for a more playful and dynamic ride, providing excellent transfer for lifting the skis.
• Front Suspension: RMK React™ with a 36–38 inch adjustable ski stance, allowing for predictable handling and sidehilling.
• Shocks: Premium Walker Evans Racing® (WER) Velocity Hi-Lo shocks, featuring adjustable high- and low-speed compression damping.
• Track: The 146-inch model comes with either a 15 x 146 x 2.6" Series 6 track or a 15 x 146 x 2.0" Crossover track
