The 2022 Polaris 650 Voyageur 146 ES is a sport-utility crossover snowmobile known for its versatility in handling trail riding, utility work, and off-trail exploring. Engine and performance

• Engine: A liquid-cooled, 650cc Patriot 2-stroke engine with Cleanfire injection, providing strong acceleration and responsive performance.
• Starting and reverse: Standard electric start (ES) for convenience, and PERC® electronic reverse for easy maneuvering.
• Fuel system: Features a Cleanfire® Injection system.
• Drivetrain: Uses a chaincase drive system with a P-85 primary clutch and TEAM LWT driven clutch. 

Chassis and suspension

• Platform: The MATRYX platform, which was new to this model year, provides a lightweight, narrow, and centralized "Rider First" design. This results in better handling and improved rider connection to the machine.
• Rear suspension: The IGX 146 rear suspension is uncoupled, with a tipped rail design that helps with cornering and acceleration. The 146-inch track length also provides better flotation for off-trail travel. It is equipped with Polaris IFP (Internal Floating Piston) shocks.
• Front suspension: The AXYS front suspension is also equipped with Polaris IFP shocks.
• Track: A 15 x 146 x 1.6-inch Cobra track provides strong traction on and off-trail.
• Skis: Features Gripper skis.

• Versatility: Designed for a range of uses, including towing, carrying cargo, and riding a variety of terrain.
• Towing and storage: Comes standard with an integrated rear rack and a tow hitch.
• Comfort: Includes a MATRYX Performance seat for a single rider and Polaris' SmartWarmers for the hand and thumb grips.

• Windshield: A Tall Smoke windshield comes standard.
• Instrumentation: A Polaris MessageCenter gauge displays vital information, such as speed, RPM, and engine status. A 7S digital display was an optional upgrade.
